As a place renowned for being the birthplace of outstanding persons and producing area of natural treasures, Tianjin port can provide berths for 150 thousand-ton vessels and has established business relationships with more than 300 ports and 160 countries/ areas all over the world, which endows Tianjin’s foreign trade and economy with particularly favorable development conditions. In recent years, the imports and exports keep being promoted. In 2003, the throughput of cargos and containers reached 1600 million tons and 3 millions standard containers respectively. With further enlarging its import and export scale and optimizing its export structure, Tianjin has enhanced its radiating function as a central port.

There is a special team in their uniforms with the national emblem on the hat and the balance marks on the shoulders.
